How to use Rescue Oil

Scars

Rescue Oil helps to improve the appearance of scars.

Rescue Oil should be massaged in a circular motion into the scar and surrounding skin, twice a day. It may take 3 months or longer to see an improvement but the time is usually shorter than this especially on younger scars.

On new scars, Rescue Oil should be applied only when the wound has healed, and should not be used on broken skin.

Success will also depend on the size of the scar, you will see some improvement on larger scars but smaller scars are easier to mask. Scars are permanent in nature, and although Rescue Oil is formulated to help improve their appearance, it will never remove them completely.

Many women are prone to stretch marks during pregnancy, particularly in the later stages of pregnancy. The likelihood of developing them varies according to skin type, race, age, diet and hydration of the skin.

Rescue Oil should be applied to the abdomen, breasts, hips, buttocks and thighs twice daily from the first trimester, to help prevent the appearance of pregnancy stretch marks by moisturizing and maintaining the elasticity of the skin. Massage gently using a circular motion. It is advisable to continue use for the first month or two after giving birth.

Rescue Oil should be applied to dry skin directly after bathing or showering, and allowed to fully absorb before getting dressed.

Rescue Oil is safe to use during pregnancy and while breast feeding, though we recommend that you do not apply to the nipple area if you are breastfeeding to prevent ingestion by your baby.
